The law firm of Gray Plant Mooty today announced it is opening an office in Fargo, N.D., reflecting the Minneapolis-based firm’s intention to extend its ongoing momentum in North Dakota. It signed a one-year lease, which provides flexibility to quickly move into larger space.
Gray Plant Mooty – which employs 170 lawyers in 11 practice groups – already serves a strong base of business in North Dakota with staff from its Minneapolis, Washington, D.C., and St. Cloud, Minn., offices. The new office will provide a centralized work location for these attorneys and help the firm better serve its current and prospective clients in the state.
“Fargo is a growing and important business hub and the new office will give our clients in North Dakota even better access to our services,” said Charlie Maier, who will be one of the firm’s co-managing officers starting in 2015. “We’re reacting to the marketplace and offering unmatched delivery of legal expertise, which has remained a hallmark of Gray Plant Mooty over the course of our nearly 150-year history.”
