Winstead PC welcomes Andrew Rosell, a shareholder in the corporate, securities/mergers and acquisitions practice group. Rosell was previously a partner at Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP. He will practice in Winstead’s Fort Worth office.

Rosell has over twelve years of experience advising clients on investment funds, securities compliance, private equity funds, hedge funds and real estate funds. He is highly skilled in all aspects of the private funds world, including fund formation, fund regulatory compliance, and fund acquisition and disposition work. Rosell’s clients include public and private companies, investment fund managers, institutional, family office and individual investors, and wealth managers, among others.
He has been selected as a Top Attorney in Tarrant County by Forth Worth Texas Magazine and he was named a “40 Under 40 Honoree” by the Fort Worth Business Press. Rosell is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Tarrant County Bar Association. He serves on the steering committee of the DFW Financial Services General Counsel Roundtable and the executive committee of the DFW Compliance Roundtable. Among his community involvement, he served as director of the Kleinheinz Family Endowment for the Arts & Education from 2007-2013, and he is a member of the Cook Children’s Family Advisory Council.
Rosell began his career in 1998 with Ernst & Young, LLP. He graduated cum laude from the Cox School of Business and Southern Methodist University with a B.B.A. in Accounting and received his J.D., cum laude from SMU Dedman School of Law.
