Eversheds Sutherland has announced a boost to its Frankfurt capability with the appointment of M&A lateral partner hire, Silke Gantzckow. Silke, a notary public, joins from Baker McKenzie, and brings 20 years of experience in advising on corporate finance transactions including national and cross-border corporate M&A and private equity.
Silke primarily advises large and mid-size corporations and financial investors on complex M&A transactions, global carve-outs, reorganisations, restructurings and joint ventures, in particular in the renewable energy/clean tech and life sciences sectors. As a notary, her focus is on corporate law/M&A and real estate/property transactions.

Silke Gantzckow commented:
“I am excited to be joining the newly opened Frankfurt office and expanding the national and international M&A practice at Eversheds Sutherland and, in particular, to contribute with my global transactional experience to profitably expand the corporate/M&A service offering for clients with a focus on the renewable energy and life sciences sectors.
Establishing a presence in Frankfurt, with our office opening in January 2023, realised a long standing ambition for the firm and for its team in Germany. The firm’s goal in Frankfurt is to build the practice through exceptional quality hires and by developing its highly talented lawyer pipeline. These have included: Frankfurt office head and M&A partner Dr. Steffen Schniepp, litigation and dispute partner Dominique Strieder, and IP and Life Sciences partner Dr. Anette Gartner.
