Markus Hill joins KWM Europe Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. As a KWM partner he will continue to focus on providing tax advice to German and international clients, particularly in connection with M&A and private equity transactions.
With this further appointment, the team in Frankfurt is successfully continuing its series of partner hires. In 2017, the German KWM practice has already been enhanced by the addition of the team around the two M&A and private equity specialists Michael Roos and Markus Herz. Furthermore, financing and restructuring expert Daniel Ehret as well as Hui Zhao, who specializes in advising on M&A transactions relating to China, were acquired for the German team.
Markus Hill specializes in transaction related tax advice, particularly in respect to the structuring of private equity transactions. Additionally, he advises on restructuring and financing of companies and groups and the implementation of cross border structures, as well as on a range of complex issues of general tax law. His clients are mainly private equity funds and other financial investors. His practice perfectly complements the practice of the team around Michael Roos, who joined KWM in November 2017.
Markus Hill‘s appointment is an ideal enhancement of the German capability, completing the offering and complementing the team with an expert with whom most of KWM partners have worked closely for many years.
