Latham & Watkins LLP1 is pleased to announce that Tim Wybitul will join the Frankfurt office as a partner in the Litigation & Trial Department and member of the Data Privacy & Security Practice. Wybitul’s practice focuses on advising domestic and multinational clients on a variety of complex data privacy and employment law matters, with a particular focus on GDPR compliance, employee data privacy, internal investigations, and data protection litigation and regulatory proceedings.
Wybitul also has extensive experience advising clients on the implementation, review, and operation of internal data privacy systems, compliance structures, cross-border data transfers, and discoveries, and he regularly represents companies in connection with legal proceedings on data protection issues and the negotiation with data protection authorities.

Wybitul joins the firm from Hogan Lovells’ Frankfurt office. He graduated from the University of Frankfurt am Main and undertook his Referendariat at the Frankfurt Court of Appeals, passing his Second State Exam in 2002.
