Milbank Advises International Banking Consortium on €20bn Financing for Volkswagen

The international law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP has advised an international banking consortium led by Citibank Global Markets Limited and UniCredit Bank AG as coordinators, bookrunners and mandated lead arrangers on a syndicated revolving credit facility for the German car manufacturer Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg. New regulatory partner joins Dentons in Frankfurt

Dentons is pleased to announce that Dr. Bernd Geier has joined as partner in the Frankfurt office from Allen & Overy, further expanding the Firm’s Banking and Finance, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, and Capital Markets practices in Germany.

Specializing in non-contentious regulatory work, Geier has wide-ranging experience in advising banks, investment firms, asset managers, funds and market infrastructure providers. In particular, his practice focuses on regulatory change projects. Geier is also a lecturer on bank regulation and resolution at the University of Speyer. He is admitted to practice law in Germany, England and Wales.
