Mayer Brown announced today that Volker Junge will join the firm´s Tax practice in February as partner. Mr. Junge, who will base his practice in Frankfurt, comes to Mayer Brown from King & Wood Mallesons. Prior to joining King & Wood Mallesons Mr. Junge worked for Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton for nine years.
Mr. Junge advises on all aspects of tax law, with a particular focus on structuring, financing and implementation of tax-efficient national and international M&A, private equity and real estate transactions as well as on corporate reorganizations and rehabilitations. He is also experienced in capital markets transactions and innovative financial products. Furthermore, he advises on structuring of employee and management participation programs.
