Bird & Bird is pleased to announce the appointment of well-known corporate law expert, Dr Peter Veranneman, as a partner in its Frankfurt and Dusseldorf offices.
Prior to joining Bird & Bird, Peter worked as a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Frankfurt, and previously at Hengeler Mueller and Baker & McKenzie.
Peter’s expertise focuses on the areas of capital markets and corporate law as well as public and private M&A. His experience includes advising UCB on its combined Cash-/Equity takeover offer for Schwarz Pharma; Continental on the sale of its electric motor business to Brose; the supervisory board of Continental on its acquisition by Schaeffler; and a banking consortium during the IPO of GAGFAH.
As an editor and co-author of Beck’s commentary on the Bond Act, Peter is also recognised as a top specialist in bond markets.
