On 1 May 2011, Bird & Bird LLP will be opening its fourth German office in Hamburg. This office will be Bird & Bird’s first new office in Europe since its expansion into central Europe in September 2008.

 

The team of six lawyers, who will join Bird & Bird on 1 May, currently operate as Recore Business Lawyers LLP. The team specialises in real estate, corporate / M&A and restructuring work.  From this strong corporate capacity base, the office will soon be further expanded to cover all areas of commercial and business law for our clients in this region.

 

Frank Moerchen and Thomas Demmel join Bird & Bird as Partner, Oliver Köster, Kurt Luka and Ole Brühl as Senior European Consultants and Gertrun Romeis as an associate.
