K&L Gates Strengthens Arbitration Team with Addition of Frankfurt Partner

Global law firm K&L Gates LLP continues the growth of its commercial disputes and arbitration practices with the addition of Dr. Johann von Pachelbel as a partner in its Frankfurt office. He joins K&L Gates from Mannheimer Swartling Advokatbyra AB.

Fluent in Swedish, Dr. von Pachelbel has practiced in Frankfurt, Gothenburg, and Stockholm for many years. At K&L Gates, he will work predominantly on the continued expansion of the firm’s commercial disputes practice, with a particular focus on arbitration. Dr. von Pachelbel’s arrival follows the recent addition of associates Dr. Chia Lehnardt and Jakob Hübert to the international arbitration practice of Frankfurt partner Dr. Sabine Konrad.
Along with the commercial disputes lawyers, K&L Gates also welcomes Nicolas Roggel as counsel in its Berlin employment practice, where he joins partner Manfred Hack. A managing associate for Linklaters LLP in Berlin for the past few years, Roggel advises on employment law matters in domestic and cross-border disposals and acquisitions.
Dr. Rüdiger von Hülst, Administrative Partner of K&L Gates’ German offices, commented: “It is a great success and pleasure to be able to welcome an internationally experienced colleague in Dr. von Pachelbel, and we are also delighted with the growth of our employment team.”
“I am looking forward to my new role as part of K&L Gates’ experienced international team in this interesting field, where the firm is well positioned both within and outside of Europe,” stated Dr. von Pachelbel. “This is a promising situation for the representation of clients in disputes, both in Germany and cross-border.”
