International law firm Ince & Co is delighted to announce the return of Dr. Markus Eichhorst (pictured) to the partnership with effect from 1 August 2012.
Dr. Eichhorst joined the Hamburg office in 2001 and became a partner in May 2008. He left Ince & Co in 2010 to join the judiciary, and for the past two years has been a practising judge.
His return, together with the recent partner promotions of Georg Lehmann, Dr. Tim Schommer, Dr. Volker Lückeand Dr. Eckehard Volzmeans that over the last two years the number of partners in the Hamburg office has nearly doubled to nine partners supported by over 25 lawyers.
Markus is especially experienced in negotiating and litigating commercial disputes focusing on insurance, trade and shipping.
Markus comments: “I was delighted to take up the opportunity to be a Judge, and having gained such invaluable experience, I can return to private practice more finely attuned to the complexities of cases. I am happy to be re-joining Ince and to be part of the dynamic team in Hamburg.”
