DLA Piper is strengthening its German IP practice with the recruitment of partner Dr Stefan Dittmer (47). On 1 November 2012, at the latest, Dittmer will be reinforcing the team around counsel Dr Annemarie Bloss in the Intellectual Property and Technology (IPT) practice group at the Hamburg location.
For more than 15 years, Stefan Dittmer worked in the Berlin office of Baker & McKenzie where he was the partner in charge of the IP and Dispute Resolution practice. He advises companies in the technology, chemicals and media sectors as well as manufacturers of plant and consumer goods in all questions of brand, competition, design patent and copyright law and represents them in disputes involving IP law. His clients included leading producers of information technology and telecommunications devices, defence technology and aviation engineering.
