WFW Recruits Prominent Hamburg Corporate Partner

Watson, Farley & Williams (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has appointed partner Axel Löhde to strengthen its German corporate practice.

From 1 April 2013, Axel Löhde will join the firm’s Hamburg office, bringing significant experience of advising domestic and international clients on all corporate aspects of transactions and high level general corporate advice.

Axel was previously the founding partner of the corporate boutique Löhde Leo Schmidt – Holburg & Witte (LLSW). His practice focuses on establishing and restructuring companies, M&A transactions and IT outsourcing. He also advises Hamburg-based family-owned private equity companies on corporate law matters.

Highly rated in leading domestic directory and journal JUVE since 2000, Axel Löhde is also regularly appointed as a party representative and arbitrator in ad hoc and institutionalised arbitration proceedings and serves as an honorary judge and member of the presiding committee at the Hamburg Bar Court (Hamburgisches Anwaltsgericht).
