Rebecca J. Grunick has joined Porter Wright’s growing Cleveland office as a partner in the firm’s Corporate Department.
“It’s exciting to add Rebecca’s deep corporate experience to our Cleveland team,” said Hugh McKay, partner in charge of the firm’s Northeast Ohio office. “Her decades of experience in serving one of the nation’s leading financial companies will bring great value to our clients.”
Grunick joins the firm from KeyBank National Association where she served as Senior Vice-President and Associate General Counsel. Grunick has advised senior management and business executives concerning risk management, complex legal and strategic issues, and the management and disposition of multi-million dollar portfolios of commercial assets. She has experience managing all issues relating to commercial loan workouts, bankruptcies and litigation on a national level.
Grunick received a B.A. from Kent State University, cum laude, and a J.D. from University of Akron School of Law. She is a long-time board member of Lorain County United Way and Cleveland Animal Protective League, where she served as chair of the board, and was a member of Leadership Lorain County, 2010. Grunick is a member of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the International Women’s Insolvency Association. She has been honored as a Woman In-House Counsel Leader by the Association of Corporate Counsel.
