CMS has appointed a new reinsurance partner in London, Simon Kilgour, strengthening its Insurance and Reinsurance Group.
Simon will shortly join from RPC where he is a partner and Head of Reinsurance. He advises domestic and overseas insurers and reinsurers on a number of legal matters, including complex, high value and non-standard coverage disputes. With significant expertise in the reinsurance market, he has led numerous disputes and arbitrations, some with values in excess of US$100 million in London, the USA and Bermuda.
Simon is ranked as a leading individual in the legal directories and described as “excellent and energetic”. He is well known as an innovative lawyer and has developed online services including the award winning “Re-Word” technology. CMS is committed to evolving these services alongside Simon
