Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP (KDV), a leading national law firm, today announced that Christopher Nucifora has rejoined the firm as a co-managing partner in its Hackensack, NJ office. Nucifora, who has nearly 15 years of experience as a commercial litigator handling complex matters, will also be co-chair of KDV’s Information Security and Privacy practice.
Nucifora is an accomplished commercial litigator who handles business and corporate conflicts, private and public construction disputes, and professional liability matters. He also handles technology litigation and information and privacy security matters, and is a frequent author and speaker. Nucifora rejoins Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck from Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, where he was a partner in the firm’s Madison, NJ office.
“We are thrilled that Chris is rejoining the firm and taking on an important leadership role,” said Ivan J. Dolowich, co-managing partner, KDV. “The New Jersey office had experienced tremendous growth this past quarter, adding attorneys in several KDV hallmark practices including professional and employment liability and insurance as well as our expanding construction and admiralty practices. Chris’ leadership in commercial and construction litigation and information and privacy security will be a great benefit to our clients.”
“With Chris’ return to KDV, our New Jersey office greatly enhances its litigation and cyber security capabilities,” said Gino A. Zonghetti, co-managing partner of the KDV New Jersey office. “I look forward to working side-by-side with Chris as we continue KDV’s development in this region.”
Nucifora earned his B.S from Rutgers University and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the District of Columbia.
“It feels great to return to KDV at a time of such growth in the New Jersey office,” said Nucifora. “I am excited to work with new and former colleagues as we continue to expand our footprint.”
Nucifora is the third partner to join the KDV New Jersey office since April. Robert Berns, who has 25 years of experience in professional liability defense, ethics proceedings, insurance and commercial disputes, joined in April and Gino Zonghetti, a veteran admiralty, employment practices liability and professional liability attorney and former assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, joined in May as an equity partner and co-managing partner of the office. In addition, one counsel and three associates have joined the KDV NJ office in the last two months.
