Prince Lobel Welcomes Daniel P. Tighe as Litigation Practice Group Partner

Prince Lobel Tye LLP is pleased to announce that Dan Tighe has joined the firm, bringing with him more than 20 years of trial experience in state and federal courts. Previously a partner at Griesinger, Tighe & Maffei, LLP, Dan represents clients involved in all types of business disputes in cases involving securities, insurance, corporate governance, and intellectual property.

Dan’s varied practice includes representing large companies such as Liberty Mutual and entrepreneurs such as the Winklevoss brothers in their dispute against Facebook, as later dramatized in the movie “The Social Network.” He also represents clients in proceedings and investigations involving the Securities and Exchange Commission, having recently obtained a defense verdict in a federal jury trial, for a client facing insider trading charges brought by the SEC.

Dan has served on the Civil Litigation Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association, has been named a “Massachusetts Super Lawyer” since 2004, and has served on MCLE and BBA panels related to various civil practice issues.

Dan is a 1990 graduate of New York University School of Law. He received his B.A., with honors, from Trinity College in 1987, where he was also elected Phi Beta Kappa. Dan lives in Reading with his wife and four children.
