Mishcon de Reya has recruited Nick Lane as a partner within its Real Estate department. Nick joins the Firm on 2 September 2013 from Olswang, where he was a partner and Head of Construction.
Nick will sit within Mishcon’s Property Litigation Group as a contentious construction specialist. He has a wealth of experience in relation to building and civil engineering disputes, representing clients in all forms of dispute resolution from conciliation, mediation, expert determination, adjudication and arbitration (both domestic and international), through to litigation (Technology and Construction, Companies and Bankruptcy Courts). His appointment is part of Mishcon de Reya’s growth strategy in litigation and takes the Property Litigation Group to four partners/legal directors and a total of 12 fee-earners. Overall, the Firm’s Real Estate department has 19 partners and legal directors, with 78 fee-earners in total.
