International law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has appointed Ben Stansfield as a real estate partner in the London office. Ben joins from Clifford Chance, where he had been a senior associate since 2007 within the environment and planning group.
Ben specialises in planning and environmental law, and has advised on a number variety of landmark developments, such as the redevelopment of the Greenwich Peninsula, the Chelsea Barracks and various landmark developments on the Canary Wharf Estate in London. In addition Ben has expertise in the consenting of large infrastructure projects and energy regulation, advising on a variety of energy projects, in particular renewables and offshore transmission licensing.
