Ulmer & Berne LLP has once again expanded its business litigation team in Chicago, with the addition of Andrew J. Jarzyna as a partner in the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Jarzyna joins Ulmer & Berne from Skadden, Arps Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates. The addition of Mr. Jarzyna marks the third partner hire for the firm’s Chicago office in three months.

At Ulmer & Berne, Mr. Jarzyna’s practice will continue to focus on complex litigation. He has experience in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the country and in various types of commercial arbitration. Mr. Jarzyna has represented clients from a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical insurance, managed care, telecommunications, commercial finance, utility, private equity, distribution, and manufacturing. He has handled a broad spectrum of cases and claims, and focuses on defending corporations against allegations of breach of contract, fraud, deceptive advertising, and violations of RICO and consumer fraud statutes.

Mr. Jarzyna earned his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Chicago.
