The addition of these lawyers, whose practices are focused on transportation and other infrastructure, serves to bolster the firm’s expanding national projects practice.

Mr. Blair has represented a wide variety of Canadian and U.S. rail, trucking, bus and mining companies. He has extensive experience in interprovincial and international transportation, safety standards regulation, carriers’ liability and NAFTA-related issues. He also appears regularly before administrative tribunals, agencies and the courts in regulatory, safety compliance and liability matters. His practice includes private M&A and retail sector transactions.
Mr. Ménard Dumas represents freight and passenger transport companies on a variety of issues, including the regulatory compliance of their operations, statutory penal law, transport contracts, PECVL files, claims related to loss of cargo and bus permits. He regularly appears before the Commission des transports du Québec and civil courts, and speaks regularly on industry best practices for owners and operators of heavy vehicles.
Ms. Dupont’s experience includes advising rail and mining companies, including on aboriginal, development and environmental aspects of their projects. She also assists bus and truck transport companies with authorization requests and licence applications.
Ms. Briand-Diguer advises bus and truck transportation companies on various authorization or permit applications with the Commission des transports du Québec. She also assists in preparing files, drafting procedures and conducting legal research.
