Kutak Rock LLP is negotiating and drafting transactional documents needed to sell the State of Illinois’ $1 billion general obligation bonds. On February 6, Illinois will sell tax-exempt bonds with a 25-year maturity.
When the firm successfully responded to the State of Illinois’ request for proposal, it became the first law firm selected to serve as underwriter’s counsel in connection with Illinois’ negotiated bond issuances.
Proceeds on the sale of the bonds will finance projects under the $31 billion Illinois capital program referred to as Illinois Jobs Now.
