National law firm McGlinchey Stafford PLLC is pleased to announce that it has opened a new office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Paul H. Minoff has joined the firm as Of Counsel and will lead operations in Fort Lauderdale. The firm’s expansion into South Florida follows its initial move into the state in August of 2010, with the opening of an office in Jacksonville.
The addition of Mr. Minoff and the Fort Lauderdale office broadens the firm’s ability to serve the legal needs of key clients in the areas of financial services, business and general civil litigation. With more than 160 attorneys firm-wide, McGlinchey Stafford now reaches clients from ten offices in six states, including Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, Ohio and Texas.
“We are excited to become a part of the Fort Lauderdale business community,” said Rudy Aguilar, Managing Member of McGlinchey Stafford. “Our primary consideration in any decision is how it impacts our ability to serve clients, and the decision to open this new office is no exception, as it is in direct response to the needs of key clients in the financial services industry.”
Paul H. Minoff brings to the firm extensive experience handling commercial, consumer financial services and real estate litigation, both as in-house counsel and as a private practice attorney. Prior to joining McGlinchey Stafford, Mr. Minoff served as Vice President and Managing Trial Attorney of a Fortune 500 title insurance company’s Florida litigation office and as Vice President and Associate General Counsel of a Fortune 50 financial institution’s in-house litigation department. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Rutgers University School of Law (with honors) in 1999 and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Stony Brook University (magna cum laude).
