Hanson Bridgett Welcomes Stephen Cassidy; Firm Grows Land Use Capabilities

Hanson Bridgett LLP is pleased to announce that Stephen K. Cassidy has joined the firm as a Partner in the Real Estate section. Steve’s practice will focus on land use and real estate law. He will be based in the firm’s San Francisco office.

“Hanson Bridgett has been looking to increase its land use expertise to keep up with the growing needs of our clients,” said Andrew Giacomini, Hanson Bridgett LLP Managing Partner. “Steve’s extensive experience, along with the leadership roles he has served with the California State Bar, the American Bar Association, and the International Council of Shopping Centers, make him the ideal person to do this, and we are thrilled to have him aboard.”
Steve most recently served as co-chair of the Land Use Group at Sedgwick LLP, and specializes in real estate and land use law, including development, finance, transactions and leasing, entity formation, and environmental law. Additionally, Steve has served as an expert witness in real estate and land use litigation. He received his B.A. with highest honors, from the University of California at Riverside, and his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall).
