International law firm Simmons & Simmons has appointed Donna Ager as a partner in its Asset Finance team in London.

Donna specialises in big-ticket aircraft finance work, with particular experience advising international financial institutions, aircraft leasing companies and manufacturers. Previously at Clifford Chance in London, she has also worked in the legal finance team at Airbus S.A.S.

Commenting on the new hire, Head of the Financial Institutions sector, Jonathan Hammond, said: “This is another strong hire for our already reputable team, which is particularly known for its aviation finance work.”

Head of Asset Finance at Simmons & Simmons, Christopher Boresjo, added: “Donna is an expert in aviation and her experience of the banking and leasing sectors will further boost our customer offering.”

Donna was one of only three lawyers invited to attend the Boeing European Finance Briefing last year, for the industry’s major players from the aviation leasing and banking communities. She is also a member of the Aviation Club UK.
