The statewide Florida law firm of Fowler White Boggs P.A. (Fowler) and the Ft. Lauderdale-based firm of Atkinson, Diner, Stone, Mankuta & Ploucha P.A. (Atkinson) announced that their merger became effective May 1, 2012. The combined firms will be known as Fowler White Boggs. The Ft. Lauderdale office is located at 1200 East Las Olas Boulevard, Suite 500, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. 33301.
“This combination gives us the people, connections and capabilities we need to grow the firm’s South Florida presence and to serve the area’s top tier clients,” said Terrence Russell, managing shareholder of Fowler’s Ft. Lauderdale office and a former president of The Florida Bar. “It’s a great fit for all of us.”
This merger is a continuation of the dynamic expansion of the Ft. Lauderdale office of Fowler, which has grown to 30 attorneys in less than two years.
“Our goal is to be the ‘go to’ commercial law firm in Florida, and this is how we’re getting there,” said Rhea Law, CEO and Chair of the Fowler Board of Directors. “I just can’t say enough about how proud we are to welcome our new partners, associates and staff that have joined us from the Atkinson firm.”
The combined firm will continue the tradition of outstanding representation for clients that comprise the economic engine of Florida. Business and Construction Litigation, Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring, Financial Services Litigation, Land Use, Real Estate, Corporate, Immigration, Tax, Intellectual Property, Health Care and Wealth Management are some of the areas of practice the firm’s Ft. Lauderdale office offers.
Fowler White Boggs is internationally connected with a Florida focus with 140 attorneys in five offices located in Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Jacksonville and Tallahassee.
