Washington, DC Office of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP Welcomes Intellectual Property Partner Robert Nissen

McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP (MLA) announced today that litigator Robert Nissen has joined the firm as a partner in its Intellectual Property & Technology practice in Washington, DC. Mr. Nissen’s practice will be primarily focused on patent litigation.

“We are excited to have Rob join us in Washington,” said Song Jung, chair of the MLA Intellectual Property & Technology practice. “He is an excellent addition to our IP practice, and we look forward to the contributions that he will make toward the continued growth and success of McKenna Long & Aldridge.”

Prior to joining MLA, Mr. Nissen was the managing partner at his firm, Nissen & Associates, where he practiced patent, trademark and copyright litigation. Mr. Nissen has practiced in state courts, federal district courts, federal appellate courts and before the United States Supreme Court. Prior to law school, he had more than a decade of experience in the telecommunications industry in both technical and management positions.

Mr. Nissen earned a J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law, M.S. in engineering management from Southern Methodist University, and B.S. in math and computer science from Arizona State University.
