Clayton Utz has appointed Clive Luck as a partner in its Perth Construction & Major Projects practice, with effect from 1 July 2012.
Clive has a mix of front-end drafting and contentious skills as a construction lawyer, with a focus on major construction, engineering and infrastructure projects. As well as advising on dispute resolution, Clive provides contract drafting and general advice to owners, contractors and engineers on large-scale mineral, oil, gas, energy and infrastructure projects.
Commenting on Clive’s appointment, Clayton Utz Construction and Major Projects departmental managing partner Steve O’Reilly said: “Clive’s experience and skill set, particularly in construction dispute resolution, is an ideal fit for our Perth and national Construction and Major Projects teams. As recognised market leaders, we are keen to expand our Major Projects and Construction practice on the western seaboard.”
He added: “We anticipate continued growth in the practice off the back of current and planned infrastructure projects, both in Perth and particularly in the continued expanding mining and energy sectors in Western Australia.”
Clive will work closely alongside Perth Construction & Major Projects partner Stephen Boyleand special counsel Adrienne Parker.
