Sullivan & Worcester LLP is pleased to announce that Adam N. Weisenberg has joined the Commercial Real Estate Group as a partner in the Boston office. Mr. Weisenberg is a leading real estate finance, development and real estate investment trust lawyer.
Mr. Weisenberg has broad and deep experience in commercial real estate investment, finance and development across the full range of asset types throughout the United States. He also has experience with joint ventures and partnerships; debt restructuring, foreclosure and debt purchase transactions; acquisitions, sales and exchanges; construction, permanent and mezzanine financing; REITs; fund level credit facilities; entity structuring and formation transactions; zoning, land use and permitting; ground and space leasing; management agreements; development agreements, easements and covenants; and residential and commercial condominiums.
Prior to joining Sullivan & Worcester, Mr. Weisenberg was a partner at Goodwin Procter since 1990. He served as chair of that firm’s Real Estate Finance Practice and as a member of its Real Estate Development & Permitting, Real Estate Investment Management, and REITs Practices. Mr. Weisenberg was also a longstanding member of Goodwin’s opinion committee and chaired the firm’s formal real estate training efforts for many years.
