DLA Piper today announces the appointment of Adam Cooke as partner in its London Intellectual Property & Technology (“IPT”) practice. Adam joins from Hogan Lovells where he was a leading partner in the London IP team.
Adam has 20 years’ experience as an IP litigator and his practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional patent litigation, especially in the life sciences sector. Adam has advised in relation to regulatory data exclusivity, as well as the use of confidential information and has experience of trade mark, copyright and registered and unregistered design litigation.

Prior to Hogan Lovells, Adam was an equity partner at Wragge & Co. between 1994-2008, an associate at Stephenson Harwood between 1991-1993, and began his career at Bristows between 1984-1991. Adam will join DLA Piper in August.
