International law firm DAC Beachcroft LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of TMT and outsourcing specialist Reg Dhanjal as a Partner in its London Commercial team.
Reg is experienced in all aspects of technology and telecoms matters with particular expertise in large-scale outsourcing, telecoms infrastructure and IT and business process outsourcing deals.
He joins the firm on 1 August from the London office of Dundas & Wilson.
Reg was formerly Head of Commercial Legal & Compliance at T-Mobile UK, which is now known as Everything Everywhere following its merger with Orange UK in 2010. Everything Everywhere operates the largest mobile network in the UK and is an existing client of the firm. Prior to T-Mobile, Reg also worked at City law firms Bird & Bird and Simmons & Simmons.
In his new role at DAC Beachcroft, Reg will work closely with Head of Commercial, Martin Cannon, Commercial Litigation Partner (and Everything Everywhere Client Relationship Partner) Ben Daniels, and Tim Sewart, who heads the firm’s TMT sector.
Commenting on the appointment, Ben Daniels said: “Reg is a key strategic hire for our expanding TMT sector. He intimately understands the telecoms world from both the perspective of an in-house lawyer and a trusted external provider.”
He added: “Clearly, his relationship with Everything Everywhere was an initial attraction to us; however, we think that he will be an asset to all of our TMT clients. DAC Beachcroft is rare in that it acts for all of the “big 4″ mobile networks in the UK. Reg will help us to service existing clients and to develop new ones in the sector.”
