Crowe & Dunlevy recently announced Zach Allen has joined the firm as a director in the real estate practice group in the firm’s Oklahoma City office.
“We are pleased to have Zach join our firm,” said Kevin Gordon, president of Crowe & Dunlevy. “His outstanding record and experience will continue to build on our already strong real estate expertise.”
Allen’s practice is concentrated in commercial real estate lending, leasing, development and sales transactions. He is licensed and actively practices in both Oklahoma and Texas and regularly handles multi-state matters.
Prior to joining Crowe & Dunlevy, Allen was a partner with Mock, Schwabe, Waldo, Elder, Reeves & Bryant. Before joining Mock Schwabe in 1995, he was an associate at the Dallas office of Haynes and Boone, L.L.P. since 1988.
In addition, Allen is a member of the State Bar of Oklahoma, Oklahoma County Bar Association, State Bar of Texas (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section), Dallas Bar Association (Real Property Section) and the American Bar Association (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section). He is board-certified in commercial real estate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America (Real Estate Law), Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Real Estate Law and Oklahoma Super Lawyers (Real Estate).
Allen currently serves on the board of trustees of the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence, as well as the board of directors for the Commercial Real Estate Council. He is also a trustee and current president of the housing corporation for the Beta Theta Pi fraternity at the University of Oklahoma. Previously, Allen has served on the Norman Public School Foundation Board of Directors, the Norman Youth Soccer Association Board of Directors and the Alcohol Advisory Committee for the University of Oklahoma.
Allen received his Bachelors of Business Administration with special distinction from the University of Oklahoma in 1985 and received his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1988, where he was Notes and Comments Editor for the Journal of Air Law and Commerce.
