Taylor Wessing Announces New Financial Services Regulatory Hire

International law firm Taylor Wessing announces the addition of a new partner to its financial services regulatory team.

Alix Prentice is an important addition to the financial services regulatory group within the firm. A specialist in financial services regulation and instruments, Alix will in particular focus on advising funds, investment managers, broker-dealers, investment banks and insurers on market regulation and trading issues. Alix joins from Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP (London) where she was special counsel in their financial services group. Alix’s experience includes working at the Financial Services Authority.

Alix comments:

“Working within Taylor Wessing’s financial services industry group will allow me to provide value added services to clients at a time when they are subject to intense regulatory change and reform. The dedicated financial services practice at Taylor Wessing is a great platform from which to do this.”

Jonathan Rogers, head of the financial services regulatory group added:

“Alix is a hugely experienced specialist and will be a valuable asset to our rapidly expanding practice. Our clients need just the sort of market know how and specialist support that Alix offers and we are delighted she is joining us.”
