K&L Gates Welcomes Washington, D.C., Government Contracts Partner

The Washington, D.C., office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP has added Stuart B. Nibley as a partner in the government contracts and procurement policy practice. Nibley joins K&L Gates from Dickstein Shapiro LLP.

Nibley concentrates his practice on the counseling and resolution of disputes on behalf of defense and civilian contractors throughout federal, state, and international procurement processes. He has represented service providers before Boards of Contract Appeals, federal and state courts, government agencies, and arbitration forums, with particular emphasis on bid protests, mandatory disclosure and other compliance matters, disputes involving government contracts, and international arbitration.

An active member of the legal community, Nibley currently serves as vice chair of the American Bar Association’s Public Contract Law Section and co-chair of the Section’s Bid Protest Committee. He recently completed a term as co-chair of the Section’s Contract Claims and Disputes Resolution Committee and served on the Section’s Task Force on Best Practices for Mandatory Disclosure for Government Contractors.

“We are delighted to welcome Stu to K&L Gates,” said David T. Case, Administrative Partner of K&L Gates’ Washington, D.C., office. “Representation of contractors who specialize in government and defense work is an important part of K&L Gates’ practice, particularly here in Washington, D.C. Stu’s experience will enhance and expand the services we provide to our government and civilian clients across the globe.”
