DAC Beachcroft Appoints New Partner to Its Financial Institutions Group

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has appointed financial services specialist Jayne Bennett as a partner in its Financial Institutions Group.

Jayne, who has joined DAC Beachcroft’s Leeds office, specialises in non-contentious insurance law, advising on insurance-related regulatory, commercial and corporate issues particularly in relation to distribution matters and corporate transactions. She moves from Addleshaw Goddard LLP, where she was a managing associate in its financial regulation team, together with regulatory lawyers Anna Briggs and Faye Livingstone, who are also joining DAC Beachcroft’s team in Leeds. Jayne and her team all have significant industry expertise, having worked on secondment at a number of key insurer clients.

The corporate, commercial and regulatory team of DAC Beachcroft’s Financial Institutions Group has grown considerably in the last three years and now comprises five partners and ten solicitors. This appointment represents the team’s first formal expansion outside London.
