Simmons & Simmons Hires Banking Partner for New Bristol Office

Following the recent announcement of two Banking partner hires, Simmons & Simmons has today announced that Helen Hancock will also be joining the firm as a partner in December.

Helen has over 20 years’ experience in advising on transactional banking and capital markets work, and advises on corporate banking, property finance and project finance, acquisition finance and treasury.

She joins from Burges Salmon in Bristol, where she was Director of Banking. Helen was previously a partner at Simmons & Simmons between 1995 to 2005.

Helen will be based in Simmons & Simmons’ new Bristol office, which opened on 24 September. The office will support the firm in undertaking complex, high value work for clients in a more efficient and cost effective.

In recent weeks, Simmons & Simmons announced the appointment of Banking partners Ross Miller and Richard Cook, both of whom will be based in the London office.
