Squire Sanders Substantially Extends Labour & Employment Practice in Prague with Partner Hire

Squire Sanders has substantially extended its labour & employment practice in Prague with the hire of partner and former head of employment at Baker & McKenzie, Karin Konstantinovová.

Karin Konstantinovová is one of the leading employment lawyers in the Czech Republic.  She has over 15 years’ employment law experience, advising local and multinational clients on a broad range of matters under Czech and EU law.  These include, in particular, organizational change and restructuring, employee transfers and relocations, management and other agreements, dismissals, stock option plans and other incentive schemes, trade union and work council matters including collective bargaining, health and safety related issues, litigation and dispute resolution, general employment advisory services and immigration.    She has considerable experience acting for businesses in the engineering, pharmaceutical, IT, banking and finance sectors, and has worked with a number of international and local clients.

Highly ranked by independent client directories Chambers and Partners and Legal 500, Karin Konstantinovová is recognised for her technical knowledge, practical and solution-driven approach.

She joins the global legal practice with colleague Hana Machýčková, also from Baker & McKenzie.

A law graduate from Charles University in Prague, Hana Machýčková has experience advising clients on a range of labour and immigration issues under Czech and EU law.  These include, in particular, organizational change and restructuring, dismissals, trade union and work council matters and general employment advisory services and immigration.
