Miles & Stockbridge P.C., a leading law firm with more than 200 lawyers in the mid-Atlantic region, announced today that Jeff Gordon has joined the firm as a principal in its Baltimore and Washington, D.C. offices.
“Jeff’s national and global litigation and investigations experience is an important addition and integral piece in serving the national and global needs of our clients,” said John B. Frisch, chairman and chief executive officer of Miles & Stockbridge. During Gordon’s 19 years of practice, he has represented Fortune 500 companies and others in all aspects of business litigation, white collar defense, internal investigations, and compliance. Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, he was a partner at Hogan Lovells.
Gordon is currently a board member of The First Tee of Baltimore, the local chapter of a national organization that offers programs and instruction to help children develop life skills using the game of golf as its vehicle. He also was appointed to the Baltimore County Planning Board and is serving a three-year term.
He is a 2004 graduate of The LEADERship, a program created by the Greater Baltimore Committee in 1983 to foster a new generation of leaders in business, nonprofits and government to help address the region’s opportunities and challenges.
He earned a law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1994 and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989, where he was a two-year captain of its tennis team. He remains involved in various alumni committees at Penn.
