Swedish real property group Wallenstam has completed wind power transactions with Eolus Vind. The transactions include the acquisition of wind turbines in the wind power park Södervidinge in Kävlinge municipality. In connection with the acquisition, Wallenstam divests half its ownership in Lunnekullen Vindkraft AB to Eolus Vind AB.
Following the completion of these transactions, Wallenstam will have 52 wind turbines and three hydropower plants in operation with a combined installed capacity of 100 megawatts. As a result of the acquisition, Wallenstam, as the first real property company in Sweden, becomes self-sufficient in respect renewable energy.
Wallenstam builds, develops and manages properties for sustainable living and enterprise in the three most expansive regions in Sweden. The group has an annual turnover of approximately SEK 1.5 billion in rentals and property valued at approximately SEK 27 billion. Wallenstam’s shares are listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm.
