Valdir C. Barbosa has joined Pedersen & Houpt as a Partner in the Corporate and Business Counseling Practice Group. He focuses his practice on tax matters pertaining to taxable and tax-free acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and reorganizations, public and private financings, private equity transactions, partnerships and debt restructurings.
Valdir received his J.D. in 2006 and his Master of Public Policy in 1998 from the University of Chicago. He received his B.A. from Yale University in 1994.
Prior to attending law school, Valdir was a Senior Manager in KPMG LLP’s state and local tax group.
Valdir is a member of the American Bar Association.
