With over 25 years of experience in employment law, contracts/transactions, and regulatory enforcement and compliance, James C. Manuel has joined Porter Wright as a partner in its Labor and Employment Department.

As Assistant and then Associate General Counsel at Battelle Memorial Institute, Manuel served large government clients, multiple state clients and Fortune 500 corporations and advised the company’s businesses on complex and strategic agreements including drafting, review and direct negotiations of terms.
Manuel received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his law degree from The University of Akron, C. Blake McDowell School of Law. He is a member of the Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations.
