Clausen Miller P.C. is announcing the opening of an office in Michigan City, Indiana. Located in the heart of Northwest Indiana, the new office enhances the Firm’s ability to offer its full array of legal services throughout Indiana.
The office, located at 200 Commerce Square in Michigan City, is managed by Clausen Miller’s Indiana licensed partners Paige M. Neel and Kimbley A. Kearney. Ms. Neel continues to be based in Chicago. Ms. Kearney maintains practices in both the Indiana and Illinois offices.
Paige Neel is a shareholder who concentrates her practice on civil litigation in the areas of professional liability, employment law, school law, and medical malpractice. Ms. Neel is an experienced litigator, and her experience includes both bench and jury trials. Her diverse practice includes matters in both Illinois and Indiana state and federal courts, and she has successfully defended a variety of clients, appraisers, brokers, agents, third party administrators, employment staffing agencies, social workers, attorneys, physicians, hospitals, construction and financial consultants, financial institutions, condominium associations, school districts, school administrators, various corporations and other businesses and their boards. Ms. Neel is a member of the Firm’s Board of Directors and is also the Chair of the Firm’s Indiana Practice Committee. Ms. Neel has been admitted to practice in Indiana since 2001, Illinois since 2003, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Indiana, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, and U.S. District Court, Central District of Illinois.
Kimbley Kearney is a shareholder who is AVĀ® PreeminentTM rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has successfully defended cases involving catastrophic personal injury, toxic tort, premises liability, employment law, insurance coverage, and ocean marine casualty in numerous jurisdictions, including Indiana state and federal courts. Ms. Kearney is also a seasoned appellate practitioner who has litigated appeals in all areas of the Firm’s practice throughout the country. She has trained at the prestigious Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine University School of Law and is an experienced mediator. Ms. Kearney is admitted to practice in Illinois, Indiana, New York and Louisiana, as well as the Unites States Supreme Court and numerous U.S. Courts of Appeal.
Ms. Neel said, “The opening of the Indiana office allows us to continue to provide legal services to our clients with the ease and convenience of a centrally located office.
