Until recently, Mosby served as a Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Kinder Morgan, one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America, where he managed the legal team responsible for Kinder Morgan’s interstate natural gas pipeline systems. Mosby’s previous experience also includes several years at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Office of General Counsel.
Mosby has an intricate knowledge of the regulatory and policy issues affecting natural gas pipelines and the electric industry, and has worked on rate, certificate, compliance, investigation, and enforcement matters. He has successfully managed the full range of legal and regulatory challenges affecting energy infrastructure companies.
As the current President of the Energy Bar Association (EBA), Mosby supports EBA’s Annual and Midyear Meetings, its Charitable Foundation, and its two publications, the Energy Law Journal and the EBA Brief. With the help of EBA Staff, he created and hosts The Energy Exchange Podcast, devoted to long-form conversations with leaders and experts from across the energy space.
Mosby maintains an office at the Ion in Houston’s Innovation Corridor, where corporate innovators, academic partners, community partners, startups, and entrepreneurs addressing critical issues for the ongoing energy transition come together to collaborate. He is active with the Princeton Alumni Angels and advises budding entrepreneurs.
