Education attorney Nancy L. Mullett has joined Clark Hill PLC as Senior Counsel in the firm’s Grand Rapids office, announced Education and Municipal Practice Group Leader John Gierak.

Associate Ben Dilley and Paralegal Jennifer Tello Join Mika Meyers

Attorney Benjamin C. Dilley and Paralegal Jennifer L. Tello have joined the firm.

Ben Dilley specializes in civil litigation and personal injury and wrongful death. Ben is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Grand Rapids Bar Association, American Association for Justice and Michigan Association for Justice.  He attended Kalamazoo College, and earned a bachelor of arts in political science.  Ben earned his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law, cum laude.  While at law school, Ben clerked for Kent County Circuit Court Judges Christopher Yates and James Redford, who is now the Director of Michigan’s Veterans’ Affairs Agency.

Jennifer Tello specializes in civil litigation and family law.  Jennifer received her bachelor of arts in physical education from Calvin College and her juris doctorate degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.  Jennifer previously worked for Legal Aid of Western Michigan, and has several years of experience in family law, immigration and civil litigation.  She is also fluent in Spanish.

Honigman Continues to Grow Grand Rapids Office with Addition of Litigation Partner

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP announced today that Mark S. Pendery has joined the firm as a partner in its Grand Rapids office. He joins the firm’s White Collar Crime and Investigations practice, as well as the State and Local Tax (SALT) and Tax practices.

Honigman’s Grand Rapids Office Expands with Three HMSC Partners Setting up Shop

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP announced today that Brett A. Krueger will relocate to the firm’s Grand Rapids office from Detroit. He will continue his work as a partner in the firm’s growing Intellectual Property department and Patent practice group, bolstering the Grand Rapids location, which opened its doors at the beginning of the year.

Honigman partners John D. Pirich and Phillip D. Torrence will also maintain offices in Grand Rapids on a part-time basis, splitting their time between their home offices in Lansing and Kalamazoo, respectively. Pirich, a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan, represents clients in governmental relations, while Torrence leads Honigman’s Financial Institutions, Securities and Corporate Governance practice groups.

Honigman Opens New Grand Rapids Office

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP has officially opened its office in downtown Grand Rapids, marking another milestone in the firm’s strategic growth and talent acquisition plan.

Clark Hill West Michigan Expands Grand Rapids Office at 200 Ottawa Avenue, NW

Clark Hill PLC has expanded its West Michigan office with the addition of 4,400 square feet at its current location at 200 Ottawa Avenue NW in downtown Grand Rapids. The office expansion is the result of an increase in attorneys and staff in the Grand Rapids office, which has grown from nine attorneys to 26 attorneys and other professionals since it opened in 2006. The growth of the Grand Rapids office is consistent with the firm’s overall growth.

Pamela M. MacDougal Joins Dykema in Grand Rapids

Dykema Gossett PLLC announced today the addition of Pamela M. MacDougal as an associate in the Firm’s Tax Practice Group. MacDougal began her career at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP in New York City and subsequently joined the tax department at Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago. Her practice has focused primarily on transactional tax work, providing the legal support and structuring work for mergers and acquisitions, complex securities offerings, tax-exempt bond issues, tax credit transactions, and tax-exempt organizations. MacDougal also has experience working with a private foundation and preservation trust, including the facilitation of cross-border donations. She has served as a volunteer tax attorney for Legal Aid.
