Sidley advised San Miguel Corporation (SMC) in its $800M overseas bond offering, which set a record as the largest U.S. dollar-denominated corporate bond issue out of the Philippines.
The international Sidley team was led by partner Alex Lloyd in Hong Kong and supported by partner Stephen Roith in London, associates Benjamin Carale and Jake Schneider in Hong Kong, and associate Sabah Rahman in London. In addition to this transaction, Sidley has been involved in two other record-breaking transactions in the Philippines and remains very active in this market.
