Watson, Farley & Williams (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is very pleased to announce that it has officially opened an office in Hong Kong, in association with Lau, Leong & Co (“LLC”).

The association will be led by partners Loretta Lau, Madeline Leong and Nicholas Hanna. Loretta Lau is a corporate and capital markets lawyer, who was until recently a partner at Goodwin Procter. Madeline Leong is an asset, project and structured finance lawyer, until recently based in WFW’s Singapore office, and Nicholas Hanna is a corporate lawyer.

The team will focus principally on work in the natural resources, shipping, offshore oil and gas, energy, transport, and banking and finance sectors, and is experienced in equity capital markets and IPOs, asset, structured, and project finance, debt restructuring and insolvency, M&A and restructurings, private equity and venture capital, joint ventures, and foreign direct investment (both into and out of the People’s Republic of China).

The opening of a Hong Kong office takes our number of global offices to 13, and significantly solidifies our presence in Asia.
