International law firm Harneysbrought aboard a new attorney to fill one of its Hong Kong legal jobs, according to a press release.
Harneys is fortifying its capacities for Cayman transactions with the hiring of Timothy Bridges as a partner.
“Tim is a highly experienced and capable practitioner who strengthens our global Cayman Islands law offering having worked in the jurisdiction for 7 years,” managing partner Jonathan Culshaw with the Hong Kong office said. “He comes to us with a proven track record of building offshore business in Asia by meeting or exceeding client expectations. Onshore lawyers and other clients based in Asia work to very demanding timeframes. A Hong Kong office weighted towards capable senior lawyers like Tim who can provide swift, commercial and accurate advice is essential.”
Bridges said the firm he is joining performs strongly in Asia, which he attributed to its healthy record of successes in the British Virgin Islands.
The legal recruiting of Bridges represents the most recent effort of the firm, which is driving toward building the stature of its practice in the Cayman Islands.
