Squire Sanders is augmenting its practices in Asia by bringing on four additional partners to two offices, filling Hong Kong legal jobs and Beijing legal jobs, according to a press release.
Jenny Liu and Xudong Ni have joined the offices in Beijing and Shanghai.
Sin Kiu Ng and Kam W. Law joined the Hong Kong office of the international law firm. Liu, Ni and Ng will practice corporate law while Law’s legal practice will revolve around intellectual property and patent issues.
“Jenny, Xudong and Sin Kiu are highly regarded in their local markets and their experience strengthens our ability to offer comprehensive corporate counsel to companies doing business in the Asia Pacific region,” global practice group leader William Downs with the firm’s corporate and corporate finance division said.
Law has extensive experience within the sector for life and health science technologies, according to David Elkins, global practice group leader with the intellectual property and technology division.
Prior to these additions, the firm employed 124 attorneys in the Asia Pacific region. The firm opened an office in Singapore earlier in May.
