DLA Piper today announces the appointment of Todd Martin Beutler, as partner in the Hong Kong office. With over 15 years of experience with firms in Hong Kong, Singapore and the US, Todd represents high net worth private clients with multinational interests as well as US, Asian and European companies with global operations. In addition to counselling and planning, Todd’s regularly represents clients in tax controversy matters and fiduciary litigation.
Todd’s international private client practice focuses on tax, trust, estate and business succession planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, and their companies, foundations and family offices. Todd has significant experience implementing trust, foundation and company structures to optimise a family’s international tax position, providing for succession planning and asset protection, as well as meeting charitable and other personal goals. Todd has advised families and companies throughout the region with respect to pre-IPOs, US inbound and outbound investments, and other trust and company structures designed to protect and grow their wealth.
