Global law firm Reed Smith today announced that Mark West has joined as a partner in its litigation practice in its Hong Kong office. Mark has extensive experience in advising and representing Hong Kong listed companies, multinational companies and high net-worth individuals on a wide array of regulatory investigations, high-value and complex commercial litigation and arbitration, white collar crimes and fraud investigations and prosecution defense. Mark was previously co-head of regulatory at Kennedys in Hong Kong.

Mark is a member of the Law Society of Hong Kong and has been named, since 2012, as a recommended Hong Kong regulatory and dispute resolution lawyer by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
He was admitted to the court in Hong Kong in 2002 and in England and Wales in 2009. He attended the University of Southampton and the College of Law in the UK, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Reed Smith’s Hong Kong office has more than 100 lawyers and almost 40 years of experience in the region, making it one of the largest and most experienced law firms in Hong Kong. The office provides market-leading advice on corporate, commercial disputes and arbitration, transportation and shipping, finance, property and employment law. Litigation partner Stephen Chan joined the Hong Kong office last month from Oldham, Li & Nie.
Global regulatory and investigations partner, Dora Wang, has also recently joined Reed Smith from Morgan Lewis & Bockius, and is based in the firm’s Shanghai and New York offices.
